Officials reported a traffic collision on JR Allen Parkway in Columbus.

As per the initial information, the motor vehicle accident took place in the eastbound lanes of JR Allen at Schomburg Road. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

Authorities shut down one lane of traffic in the area as crews worked at the scene.  Drivers were asked to avoid the area and adopt alternative routes. The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear as of this moment. No other details are immediately available.
