An 18-month-old injured after a two-vehicle collision on State Route 20 (Loganville, GA)

On Thursday morning, an 18-month-old and two others suffered injuries following a traffic collision on State Route 20.

As per the initial information, Walton County Fire Rescue and the Georgia State Patrol quickly responded to the area of State Route 20 and Logans Bluff just after 9 a.m. on reports of a two-vehicle crash. On arrival, rescuers freed an 18-month-old who was pinned in one of the vehicles.

The toddler was airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston in critical condition. Two other people incurred minor injuries and were taken to hospitals. One lane of State Route 20 had reopened at around 10:30 a.m. No additional information is available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
