A fiery crash injured 1 person on Interstate 5 and 25th Avenue (Fresno, CA)

On Wednesday afternoon, one person suffered injuries following a fiery crash on Interstate 5 and 25th Avenue.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Interstate 5 at 25th Avenue. The preliminary reports indicated that a big rig crashed into another big rig from behind for reasons that are yet to be known. One of the semi-trucks got engulfed into flames after the accident.

On arrival, emergency crews took one person to a hospital through helicopter with a broken leg. The other driver remained uninjured as a result of the accident. Officials shut down the Interstate as crews worked at the scene. The traffic was redirected onto Highway 41.

The wreck remains under investigation.
