A two-vehicle accident killed 1 woman and injured 3 people in Knoxville (Knoxville, TN)

On Saturday morning, one woman lost her life and three people suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Knoxville.

Officers got the reports of a crash at about 8:35 a.m. on 6285 Clinton Highway. The preliminary investigation showed that one woman died of her injuries at the scene. On arrival, medics rushed another woman to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.

She was listed in critical condition as of 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The two others victims who were taken to the hospital are in stable condition, officers mentioned. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identities of the victims have not been released.

An investigation continues.
