A man dead after an SUV crashes into railroad tracks in Waller (Waller, TX)

On early Wednesday morning, a man lost his life after crashing an SUV into railroad tracks in Waller.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at about 5 a.m. on Old Washington Road, close to Farm-to-Market 2920 in Waller, Texas, approximately 40 miles Northwest of Houston. The early reports showed that a man was driving down FM 2920 when he failed to stop at the end of the road and ran straight into the railroad tracks.

The impact of the crash sent the vehicle flying over the railroad tracks. The vehicle then rolled over and came to rest on Old Washington Road on the other side of the tracks. The man was declared deceased at the scene by the officials.

The cause of the crash remains under review.
