On Thursday, a man suffered major injuries following a motorcycle accident in Wichita Falls.
The preliminary reports of the incident revealed that the motorcyclist was driving down Old Burk Highway when he attempted to turn onto Old Iowa Park Road near Jefferson Street. The rider reportedly lost control of his bike near the train tracks and crashed.
On arrival, emergency crews rushed the motorcycle rider to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. Officials have not provided any other details regarding the crash at this time.
The single-vehicle crash remains under active investigation.
