On Saturday morning, an accident involving two vehicles was reported on Hasley Canyon Road while a driver was taken into the custody.
The incident took place on August 14 on Interstate 5, close to Hasley Canyon Road at about 8:33 a.m. The California Highway Patrol got information of a crash involving a black vehicle that rolled on the center divider.
CHP officer Peter Nicholson of the CHP Traffic Management Office stated that that a BMW might have passed on the right side of a big rig. However, Nicholson added that it is unconfirmed if the BMW contacted the big rig.
Police apprehended one driver, but as of 9:40 p.m., the charges made were not known. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the crash scene, but immediately left when there were no confirmed life-threatening injuries. It is still unclear how many people received injuries as a result of the crash.
The crash remains under review.
