On Thursday afternoon, two people suffered injuries following a collision involving a motorcycle on Interstate 40 East in Nashville.
Officers got the news of the incident at about 4:15 p.m. on I-40 East near Church Street. A spokesperson for the Nashville Fire Department mentioned that two adult victims were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after the accident.
All lanes have since reopened, officials stated. As of now, it is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. The circumstances that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.
The authorities will continue to investigate the crash.
