A hit-and-run crash claimed life of a jogger on 244th Avenue (Maple Valley, WA)

On Sunday morning, a hit-and-run accident killed a jogger on 244th Avenue.

According to the King County Sheriff’s office, the incident took place at around 5:00 a.m. on 244th Avenue. The officers actively responded to the crash scene and found the body of the Jogger near a church at 21401 244th Avenue SE.

The Jogger was identified as a male in his 50s, who was struck by an unknown vehicle and pronounced dead at the crash scene by authorities. The driver of vehicle escaped from scene. Officials have not released any additional details regarding the crash.

Authorities will continue to investigate the cause that led to the fatal accident.
