6 people hospitalized after a crash involving a MARTA bus (Atlanta, GA)

On early Thursday morning, a crash involving a MARTA bus left six people in a hospital.

As per the early reports, an ambulance arrived at the intersection of Highway 29 and Womack Avenue. Reports also indicated that the bus was carrying passengers at the time of the crash which happened north of Langford Parkway. Six people were transported to the hospital to be evaluated after a MARTA bus crashed at the intersection of Highway 29 and Womack Avenue.

The accident caused injuries to the bus operator and 10 passengers. Authorities urged the Atlanta motorists to avoid the intersection of Hwy 29 and Womack Avenue while crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
