The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed a 43-year-old man in Fresno County on Monday.
Approximately at 7:00 p.m., a 43-year-old man from Biola driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Barstow Avenue did not stop near the stop sign and approached a T intersection. The vehicle collided with a dirt embankment. As a result, the car toppled down and fell into a canal, said CHP.
Later, the emergency personnel found the driver and an occupant of the vehicle in an unconscious state. The driver of the vehicle succumbed to injuries even after being transported to the hospital for treatment.
The identity of the driver is not yet revealed. Alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
