40-Year-Old Latashi Eddy Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Acadia Parish (Acadia Parish, LA)

Louisiana State Police responded to a car crash on La 13 in Acadia Parish that claimed the life of a Crowley woman Tuesday. 

The victim, Latashi Eddy,40, was driving north on the highway when her car crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck. 

According to the troopers, Eddy wore a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other passenger from her car was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 

Despite wearing a seatbelt, the truck driver sustained moderate injuries.

A toxicology sample was obtained from the drivers and was sent for analysis. 

The crash is being investigated by the Louisiana State police.
