1 person hospitalized after a vehicle crashes into a Wendy’s restaurant on Pines Road (Shreveport, LA)

On Sunday evening, one person hospitalized after a male driver along with his two female passengers slammed into a Wendy’s restaurant on Pines Road.

As per the initial information, the incident took place just before 5 p.m. According to the eyewitnesses, the driver was speeding through a Walmart parking lot when it went through a stop sign. The driver then continued to turn the steering wheel before losing control of the vehicle.

The early reports showed that one female passenger left the scene and the other female passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. On the other hand, police took the male driver in custody. It is unclear if anyone in the restaurant received injuries following the wreck.

The crash remains under active review.
