1 person was found dead on a roadway after a possible pedestrian crash Sunday evening in South El Monte.
The early reports showed that the body was discovered near the intersection of Durfee Avenue and Rosemead Boulevard at about 6 p.m. The person was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
At this time, it is unknown if they were hit by a vehicle. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. The circumstances surrounding the incident also remain unclear. No other details have been provided by the officials.
