One person was killed following a traffic collision Saturday morning on Big Tujunga Canyon Road in Tujunga.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place at around 12:53 a.m. on Big Tujunga Canyon Road at Mile Marker 4.16. Emergency responders were sent to the scene at around 1 a.m. and airlifted one person to an area trauma center.
That person later succumbed to their injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin of notified. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
