1 person dead after a traffic collision on 57 Freeway in Fullerton (Fullerton, CA)

One person died following a crash Monday on the 57 Freeway in Fullerton.

As per the initial information, the fatal traffic accident was first reported at around 4:30 a.m. on the northbound 57 Freeway, just south of Chapman Avenue. The early reports indicated that at least two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles ended up in the middle lanes, while a pickup truck came to a rest facing the wrong way on the left shoulder.

One person was killed as a result of the accident. It is unknown if the crash caused any other injuries. No arrests have been made as yet. It is also unconfirmed if speed or alcohol were involved in the crash. All lanes of the freeway were closed down for at least an hour during investigation and cleanup. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
