Two people died early Sunday morning after a motorcycle crash on MO 6 near 68th Road, about a mile east of St. Joseph, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The Patrol reports the crash occurred at approximately 3:55 a.m. on June 28, 2026, in Buchanan County. A 2025 Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja motorcycle was traveling westbound on MO 6 when the single-vehicle crash occurred, the report states.
Both people aboard the motorcycle were killed. The Patrol identified them as a 53-year-old man, who was driving, and a 47-year-old woman, who was riding as a passenger. Both were from St. Joseph. According to the crash report, both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash.
