A driver suffered moderate injuries late on July 4 after a single-vehicle crash on I-29 Southbound in Saint Joseph, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash was reported at 11:15 p.m. at mile marker 48.8, within Saint Joseph city limits, the Highway Patrol said. Troop H responded to the scene.

According to the Patrol's report, a 2002 Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on I-29 when the crash occurred. The driver, whose identity has not been released, sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the report states.

No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident, identified in Patrol records as crash number 260280870.
