A 69-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 north of Dearborn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 9:25 p.m. on Aug. 26, near mile marker 32.2 on I-29 northbound, roughly two miles north of Dearborn in Buchanan County, the Patrol's online crash report states.

According to the report, a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling northbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2018 Freightliner that was also traveling northbound, on the shoulder of the highway. The female driver of the Suburban sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.

The crash was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H under incident number 260362432. No fatalities were reported, and details on the Freightliner's driver and further circumstances of the crash have not been released.
