Two drivers were injured Tuesday evening when their vehicles collided on US Highway 136 about six miles east of Unionville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash, identified by the Patrol as incident 260318647, occurred around 6:30 p.m. in Putnam County and involved a 2013 Kia Sorento and a 2003 Ford F150 pickup, both traveling westbound at the time, the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states.

A 21-year-old woman from Unionville, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 23-year-old man from Unionville, driving the other vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was also taken for treatment.

The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop B, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.

No fatalities were reported in the two-vehicle crash.
