A 22-year-old Auxvasse man suffered serious injuries Wednesday evening after his motorcycle struck a deer on Route E near Country Road 271 in Callaway County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. as the man was riding a 1997 Suzuki Marauder 800 eastbound on Route E, the Patrol's crash report states. The motorcycle collided with the deer, resulting in serious injury to the rider.
One person was involved in the single-vehicle crash, and no fatalities were reported. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is the agency of record for the incident.
