State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Dover

Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday evening in Dover. On July 3, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a Honda Accord was stopped for the stop sign at the intersection of Birchfield Drive and Forrest Avenue. At the same time, a Hyundai Veloster was traveling westbound on Forrest Avenue, approaching Birchfield Drive. The Honda failed to remain stopped and entered the roadway, causing the left front of the Hyundai to crash into the right front of the Honda on Forrest Avenue.
