A four-vehicle crash on MO 76 about five miles west of Goodhope left two drivers injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The Patrol's Troop G, which has jurisdiction over the area, is investigating the collision, which occurred on Aug. 5, 2026.
According to the crash report, the vehicles involved included a 2002 Ford F350 traveling eastbound, along with a 2013 white Chevrolet pickup, a 2016 RAM 1500 and a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, all traveling westbound.
A 23-year-old male driver from Ava sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 74-year-old male driver, also from Ava, suffered moderate injuries and was likewise taken for treatment.
No fatalities were reported in the crash, which involved a total of four vehicles on the rural stretch of MO 76 in Douglas County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has not released additional details regarding the sequence of events leading to the collision. This report will be updated as officials release more information.
