Blackpink, the globally renowned K-pop girl group from YG Entertainment, set a new benchmark in live music with their recent sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium.

On July 12 & 13, the group launched their North AMerican tour with two electrifying performances, becoming the first girl group to sell out the venue for two consecutive nights. Over 100,000 fans attended across both dates, marking a record-breaking achievement for both Blackpink and SoFi Stadium.

Returning to North America after nearly three years, Blackpink was met with enthusiastic reception. The concerts opened with a powerful live band, instantly igniting the crowd. Each member delivered standout solo performances, while the incredible production value was evident throughout the entire set. The group’s seamless movement across the massive stage kept the audience engaged with deeply immersive choreography.

Each member of Blackpink delivered a distinct solo performance that highlighted her unique artistry and stage presence. JISOO took the stage with a dreamy, emotive set that drew the audience into her world, captivating fans with her vocal delivery and expressive style. LISA followed with a magnetic performance characterized by her charismatic energy and commanding dance skills, holding the crowd’s attention from start to finish.

JENNIE brought her signature hip-hop flair and bold attitude, delivering a dynamic solo that showcased her versatility as both a rapper and vocalist. ROSÉ rounded out the solo stages with delicate vocals and lively energy, heating up the stadium and demonstrating her ability to connect with the audience on an emotional level. These individual performances were clear highlights of the night, each adding depth and variety to the overall concert experience.

The Los Angeles shows marked the start of Blackpink’s seven-show, four-city North American leg. Following these two electrifying dates in LA, the group is set to perform in Chicago, Toronto, and New York. The tour will then expand globally, with stadium-scale dates in Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Toyko, and Hong Kong. In total, Blackpink will play 31 concerts in 16 cities.

Coinciding with their tour, Blackpink also released their digital single “JUMP” on July 11. The track soared to #1 on the iTunes Top Singles charts in 60 regions. The song immediately topped YouTube’s Trending and Popular Rising charts and claimed the #1 spot on the Global Daily Popular Music Video chart.

Blackpink was the first K-pop girl group to reach both million-seller and double million-seller album status. They were also the first Asian female artists to simultaneously top the U.S. Billboard 200 and U.K. Official Albums chart.
