HUGULEY, Alabama — The Chambers County Development Authority announced that MR6 Tech Services, a company specializing in roll-forming and sheet metal machinery repair, plans to construct a new facility in the Huguley Industrial Park.
The project, which involves an investment of $1.5 million, will create between 15 and 20 new jobs in rural Chambers County, with the potential for additional employment as the company grows.
“MR6 is excited to begin this new journey in Chambers County,” said Michael Ralich, Owner of MR6 Tech Services. “The move reflects our company’s continued growth and expanding operations. As we look to the future, we are eager to work, live and invest in the Chambers County community.”
MR6 Tech, which has operated for nearly 20 years, will build a 20,000-square-foot facility in the industrial park — its first physical location. Construction is scheduled to begin in October, with a target completion date of January 2026
“This is a company that is an ideal fit for our community, and we are confident that they will be a strong partner for continued economic growth for years to come,” said Chris Busby, Executive Director of the Chambers County Development Authority (CCDA).
Ralich said the company selected the Chambers County site because of its strategic location near Interstate 85 and the community’s small-town, welcoming atmosphere.
“We believe this transition marks a significant milestone in our mission to grow strategically while remaining committed to the family values that define MR6,” he added. “We look forward to building strong partnerships and contributing to the economic development of our new home.”
Brenda Tuck, Rural Development Manager for the Alabama Department of Commerce, said MR6’s project underscores how rural communities across Alabama are well-positioned for business investment and long-term success.
“We’re excited to see MR6 Tech Services put down roots in Huguley. This project highlights the kind of opportunities that exist in Alabama’s rural communities — where a strong workforce, supportive leadership, and strategic location come together to foster real growth,” Tuck said.
