A two-vehicle crash on RT Z just west of Carl Junction left one driver with moderate injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The collision happened on October 16, 2026, at approximately 5:05 p.m. about a quarter-mile west of town in Jasper County, the Patrol reported. A 2016 Nissan Altima traveling westbound and a 2015 Audi traveling northbound were involved in the crash, authorities said.
A 33-year-old woman from Miami, Oklahoma, sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol's report. No fatalities were reported in connection with the incident.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop D, which has jurisdiction over the area, is handling the investigation into the crash, identified in Patrol records as incident number 260439864.
