One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound US 50 east of Sam Moore Road in Jackson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash was reported at 2:06 p.m. on June 25, 2026, and involved a 2003 Acura TL and a 2003 GMC Sierra, both traveling eastbound at the time, the Patrol said.

Drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

A 20-year-old male driver from Centerview, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in the crash but refused medical transport at the scene, the Patrol reported. No fatalities were reported, and one injury was confirmed among the two vehicles involved.
