Report

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on southbound MO-BB south of MO-FF in Jackson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on July 30, 2026, and was investigated by troopers with Troop A.

The Patrol reported that a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling north while a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan was heading south when the two vehicles collided.

A 76-year-old woman from Buckner, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. A 77-year-old man, also from Buckner, sustained minor injuries and was transported as well.

Dense drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. This report may be updated as officials release additional information.
