Two 18-year-old women were seriously injured Monday afternoon when the side-by-side vehicle they were riding in crashed on Route A in Howard County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 12:08 p.m. on Route A, about a quarter-mile south of County Road 127, the Patrol said in an online crash report. The incident, logged as case number 260270225, falls under the jurisdiction of Troop F.

According to the Patrol, a 2024 Honda SXS700M side-by-side was traveling northbound at the time of the crash. Only one vehicle was involved. Both occupants, women from Higbee, Missouri, sustained serious injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported.
