Two women were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 63 at County Road 5300 in Phelps County on Aug. 27, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The patrol said the collision, logged as crash incident 260363300, involved a 2015 Kia Optima and a 2017 Toyota Highlander, both traveling southbound at the time of impact. The crash was reported at 12:36 p.m., per the agency's report.

An 18-year-old woman from Mountain View, Missouri, and a 37-year-old woman from Rolla, Missouri, each sustained minor injuries, the patrol reported. Both were transported for medical treatment following the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop I, which has jurisdiction over the area, is handling the investigation. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
