Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the evening of October 9 along an Interstate 44 exit ramp in Phelps County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at approximately 9:15 p.m. on the I-44 eastbound exit ramp at Highway T, near mile marker 179, the patrol reported.

According to the report, a 2013 Lincoln MKX traveling southbound and a 2009 Mercury Sable traveling northbound were involved in the collision. A 42-year-old woman from Rolla sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol said. A 58-year-old man from Melber, Kentucky, also sustained minor injuries, according to the report.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the incident, identified in patrol records as crash number 260430533.
