Two people were injured Tuesday morning when a Ford Escape and a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided on County Road 3060 east of Highway V in Phelps County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:25 a.m. on August 25, 2026, per the Patrol's online crash report. Investigators say a 2022 Ford Escape was traveling westbound while a 2000 Harley Davidson was headed eastbound when the two vehicles collided.

A 23-year-old woman from Rolla, who was driving the Ford Escape, sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 34-year-old man from Newburg, who was riding the motorcycle, suffered serious injuries and was also taken for medical care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop I is handling the investigation into the crash, which is identified in Patrol records as incident number 260359727.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the two-vehicle wreck. Further details about the sequence of events leading to the collision have not been released.
