A two-vehicle crash on Highway 61 in Matthews left two people injured on July 28, 2026, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol reported that a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound when it collided with a 2025 Ford Maverick heading westbound. The crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m., according to the report.
A 45-year-old woman from Lilbourn sustained minor injuries in the collision and was taken for medical treatment, the patrol said. A 73-year-old man from Matthews suffered moderate injuries and was also transported for treatment, according to the report.
