Two people were injured in a crash involving a sport utility vehicle and a farm tractor on U.S. 65 near HWY. CC, about two miles south of Cross Timbers, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol reported that the crash occurred on July 8, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m. It involved a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse and a John Deere tractor of unknown year, both traveling southbound at the time, per the agency's preliminary crash report.

A 39-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, both drivers, sustained minor injuries in the collision and were transported for medical treatment, the Highway Patrol said.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D is investigating the crash, which has been logged under incident number 260286636.
