A 75-year-old Branson man died Friday afternoon after the pickup truck he was driving crashed on U.S. 65 near Cross Timbers, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The patrol said the crash occurred at approximately 2:27 p.m. on July 24, 2026, and involved a single vehicle — a 2016 Ford F-150 that was traveling southbound at the time. The driver, the only occupant listed in the report, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Highway Patrol said.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
