Two women were hurt when their vehicles collided on MO-21 about 8 miles south of Arcadia on Oct. 10, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at approximately 2:45 p.m., the patrol's online crash report states. A 2023 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound while a 2010 Kia Soul was headed northbound when the two vehicles collided, authorities said.

The driver of the Corolla, a 47-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries, according to the Highway Patrol. The driver of the Kia Soul, a 74-year-old woman, also suffered minor injuries. Both women were transported to receive medical treatment, the patrol reported.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E is investigating the crash. The incident is documented under report ID 260431523.
