A three-vehicle crash on Missouri 13 south of Route CC, about five miles south of Brighton, left three people with minor injuries on July 9, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m., the patrol's preliminary online crash report states.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicles involved were a 2024 Buick Encore traveling southbound and a 2013 Kia Sportage and 2017 Ford Escape traveling northbound. Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

The patrol reported that a 60-year-old woman from Brighton, who was driving, sustained minor injuries and was taken for medical treatment. A 79-year-old woman from El Dorado Springs, riding as an occupant, and a 79-year-old man from El Dorado Springs, who was driving, also sustained minor injuries and were transported for treatment. No fatalities were reported in the crash.
