A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on County Highway 55 just north of Hayti, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred the night of July 11, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states. A 2016 Cadillac SRX was traveling northbound on County Highway 55 when it struck a pedestrian, according to the report.
