A crash on US 60 about two miles east of Charleston left one driver seriously injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop E.

The collision occurred the evening of September 7, 2026, at approximately 6:45 p.m. and involved a 2022 Ford Escape traveling eastbound and a 2026 Freightliner traveling westbound, the Patrol's preliminary crash report states.
