A 91-year-old Charleston woman died Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Highway N north of the city, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 1:31 p.m. on September 27, about two miles north of Charleston in Mississippi County, the patrol said. A 2023 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound when the crash happened, per the report.
The driver, identified only by age and hometown, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved.
