A 65-year-old man from Wellsville, Missouri, died Monday afternoon after a collision between two tractor-trailers on westbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 1:31 p.m. near mile marker 181.0, the Patrol's online crash report states. Both vehicles involved — a 2026 International tractor-trailer and a 2020 Volvo tractor-trailer — were traveling westbound at the time.
The Wellsville driver, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Patrol. The driver of the other truck, a 63-year-old man from Magnolia, Texas, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the report says.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F is investigating the crash, which has been assigned report number 260327043.
