A crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck sent one man to the hospital with minor injuries near Maryville on July 16, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol's online crash report says the collision occurred at 10:03 a.m. on Jett Road, about one mile east of Maryville and south of 250th Street in Nodaway County.

According to the Highway Patrol, a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser and a 2007 Peterbilt were both traveling northbound at the time of the crash. The driver of the PT Cruiser, a 72-year-old man from Saint Joseph, Missouri, sustained minor injuries, the patrol reported.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H is investigating the crash, which has been logged as incident number 260298378.
