Two juveniles sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night on County Road 229, about four miles north of Cherokee Pass in Madison County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol's online crash report states the crash occurred at 11:55 p.m. on July 15, 2026, when a 2002 Mazda Tribute traveling southbound was involved in a wreck. Both the driver and a passenger, both juveniles, suffered moderate injuries, the report says.
