Two men were hurt when a Jeep Wrangler crashed on MO-5 about 3 miles south of Unionville on Oct. 8, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the 1999 Jeep Wrangler was traveling northbound at the time of the single-vehicle crash, which occurred around 4:05 p.m. Troop B responded to the scene, and the incident is being tracked under case number 260428421.

According to the Highway Patrol, the 56-year-old male driver sustained serious injuries, while a 46-year-old male occupant suffered moderate injuries. Both men were transported for medical treatment following the crash.

No other vehicles were reported to be involved. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
