A Sedalia woman suffered serious injuries after her car left the roadway and struck an object on Route O in Pettis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The patrol said the crash happened Wednesday night as a 2005 Lexus IS 300 traveled southbound on Route O. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road before striking an object, the report states.
The female driver, identified only as a Sedalia resident, was seriously hurt in the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. No other vehicles were reported to be involved.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
