Two people were injured Wednesday morning when a 2025 Chevrolet Corvette crashed on MO-WW near New Church Road in Ste Genevieve County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary crash report.

The crash was reported at 8:56 a.m. as the Corvette was traveling eastbound, the Patrol said. Dense drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

A 35-year-old male occupant sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. The vehicle's 41-year-old female driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken for medical care.

Troopers with Troop C responded to the scene, according to the Patrol's report. No other vehicles were listed as involved in the crash.
