A 25-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered serious injuries early Wednesday when the vehicle he was driving crashed on northbound Interstate 55, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 5:50 a.m. near mile marker 153, the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was behind the wheel of a 2016 Dodge Dart traveling northbound at the time of the incident, according to the Patrol.
The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the crash, identified in Patrol records as incident number 260405132.
