A two-vehicle crash on Route O west of Highlandville left one driver with moderate injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 4:22 p.m. on August 31, 2026, about four miles west of Highlandville in Stone County, the Patrol said in its online report on incident 260370023.

A 2014 Ford F-150 and a 2023 Ford F-350 were both traveling westbound on Route O at the time of the collision, according to the Patrol's report. The driver of one of the trucks, a 78-year-old man from Springfield, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment, the Patrol said.
