Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on MO-11 about five miles east of Kirksville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report for incident 260286887. The collision, investigated by Troop B, occurred on July 8, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m.
The Highway Patrol reported that a 2007 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound while a 2017 Lincoln MKZ was heading westbound at the time of the crash. Both drivers were hurt in the incident, authorities said.
A 30-year-old woman from Queen City, Missouri, who was behind the wheel of one of the vehicles, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. The driver of the other vehicle, a 78-year-old man from Kirksville, also suffered minor injuries and was taken for treatment, according to the report.
No other injuries or fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop B continues to have jurisdiction over the case.
