A 39-year-old woman from Tunas sustained moderate injuries after the SUV she was driving crashed on MO-73 two miles south of town, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on August 18, 2026, at approximately 7:52 p.m., the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling southbound on MO-73 at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The driver was transported for medical treatment following the crash, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported to be involved in the incident.
